.A great success was everybody’s view of the day. It was great seeing all our “old Boys” back again it was great to catch up on all of what going on since they have left us.

This is the first time the club has held a charity event and players old and new took part. I would like to say the games were played with lot of the guys showing great skill and determination to win. (No change there then).

The Tournament was won by the deserving John Nayler under 18s team so well done boys my thanks goes out to Cobbin for organizing the team you did not drop a point! A special mention goes out to Kyle in the Paul Ward team for his spectacular Goal and the unseemly behavior of the referee who ran half the pitch to congratulate him (Paul “I am not biased” Ward)

The Under 18s also got together at the end to make a special presentation to Dale Richardson of a very heavy inscribed stone tablet in honor of John Nayler our Chairman who died of Cancer this year it was a very touching moment and I one of very many who was moved by the tribute.

The tournament stalls did a great deal of business and I am pleased to announce that we made over our expected £400.00 for Cancer Research so my thanks go out to everybody involved.

We are going to make this an annual event for the club so come on next year!!

The Under 14's have raised £80 in memory of Jo Everitt who sadly passed away and have donated it to COHOC, (the Colchester Hospitals Charity). Please see below for two letters from COHOC and the Colchester NHS Trust thanking everyone who got involved in raising the money.

We will return to training on Friday 22nd July the times will be Under 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s. 7.00pm till 8.00pm and 14s 15s and 16s 8.00pm till 9.00pm.

Will be on Wednesday 6th July between 7.00pm and 9.00pm, the fee is £35.00 payable by cheuqe or cash. Please note that we only need to take photos of any new player or any player who signed for us 2 seasons ago. If you want any help with this payment please ring Christine on 01206 367443. Parents will need to be there to sign the League form.

The managers should have told you if your child owes any subs and we would like them in before Friday 10th June if you think that you do not owe then please get in touch with Paul Jenner
